I created a mobile application designed to connect local dog shelters with people of the community who have an interest in interacting with dog. Many shelters are seeing a higher rate of adoptions due to the Covid-19 pandemic bringing loneliness and solitude to many families and individuals. While this is positive news, there's a possibility that owners will start returning dogs once social distancing needs are reduced and they can go out into society like they did pre-pandemic.
This project aims to answer to these possible scenarios, while also creating new opportunities for those who want to own a dog or simply interact with one for a day.
